FAIRFIELD, OH -- A week long investigation leads to an arrest after a man was suspected of making counterfeit documents, such as social security cards.

A 24-year-old man was charged with eight counts of forgery and is being held at the Butler County Jail.

According to the Sheriff's Department, the suspect was believed to be manufacturing counterfeit documents including social security cards, drivers licence, and green cards.  These card would be delivered to customers in Cincinnati. Investigators discovered individuals would forward photos and the names that they would like on the documents though text messages and within an hour, the documents were delivered.

Undercover agents communicated with the suspect via text message.  He was then seen driving in Butler County to make a drop at the pre-arranged location.  

When he was stopped by sheriff deputies in marked cars he had the fake documents ordered by the the undercover officer along with other documents he was delivering.
